Bah, remove the negima people from the animeBlue header, style! it looks very similar to the negima one, stinks. Taiga is fine though

Lol, we should create a skinning team for just these reasons, maybe a group of 4 or 5 that can all take on the coding and design
I'm really digging the idea of brigade skins, that makes TOTAL sense.

Yes, considering how active all the brigades are [/sarcasm]

That's a temp top I did with some rendered images I found (I dunno how to design). I'm still waiting for the new top -.- (sight)... Somebody know how to design like a pro? I hope to make it the default skin.
The Halloween layout is broken. I have to fix it for this vbulletin version. we are going to use it the next Octuber as usually we do

Umm, not to brag or anything, but I've been majoring in the visual arts for 4 years and I'm also an Adobe Photoshop Certified Associate, which doesn't really mean I'm a pro at designing, but it might just help - I'd be more than willing to help with any designing

This is true, but as weird as it may be, I'm the following thanks to my training:
- graphic designer
- 3D modeler/animator
- 2D animator
- video editor
- video producer
- web designer (coding & graphics)
- photographer
- flash animator
- sound producer
- audio editor
- cinematographer
But eh, I'm really not trying to brag, or get special notices, I'm just saying what I've done and what I (possibly) can do to help out is all - graphical or coding, I'll help out any way I can to make the site run/look different, positively of course

The coding is in no way difficult, hina is just a mongchild. He can't be trusted with anything

Lol, thanks, a vocational HS prepared me well for college and skills for a good career
Ouch - it's just basic hacks and variables right? Never used vBulletin since I'm too cheap to start a forum that would never be worth the price/trouble -.-' so my only experience with fixing up forums is proboards, which I assume is a basic version of a vBulletin, am I right or horribly wrong here?

Horribly wrong. The original codebase used for early vbulletin versions was UBB. When jelsoft got bored of sucking every last dick in the universe they decided to switch to their own code.
However, vb is still in no way difficult.

I SHOULD work on that now, since I was send all the files needed to make our skins.
If anyone has any good skin ideas, feel free to pitch them!
I may lend a hand... If asked (bribed?) very nicely. =P

Hmm, well it seems that the skin idea has been turned into brigade themes, so I suppose the thread no longer has purpose, unless people are planning to discuss general theme ideas here.
I'd be happy to help!

Indeed, its aimed and designed to be relatively easy to use, since there are lots of people that aren't very well informed on the workings of things.
CSS though, it's not hard, but it is tricky, mainly when working for IE, it needs its special attention since it follows its own standards (IE 8 is trying to comply, but it still has long ways to go)
